The bars above show percentage outcomes for women who have initiated an IVF cycle, egg retrieval, and embryo transfer, respectively. Not all patients who begin a cycle undergo a retrieval or transfer. These rates, for January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2006 have been submitted to and published by the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) for subsequent reporting by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. A comparison of clinic success rates may not be meaningful because patient medical characteristics, treatment approaches and entrance criteria for ART may vary from clinic to clinic.
